Maintenance manager for 5-star campsite in Luxembourg
The life of a maintenance manager at this park:
In consultation with the campsite director, you lead the maintenance team and maintain close contact with several other departments on the campsite (reception, restaurant, kitchen, animation). Proposals to stimulate the growth of the campsite will be made by you and you support possible renovation projects at the campsite. You are able to manage your budget, your relations with external suppliers and you are strongly involved in the quality of providing service to the guests.
Landscaping projects, technical maintenance in accommodations and noticing other (technical) issues: this will not be a problem for you. You combine leadership skills with real, hands-on, dirt-under-your-fingernails work. In order to solve problems at the campsite and to improve the existing facilities you have a certain amount of knowledge of plumbing, electricity and masonry.
The campsite is open from April until the end of September. Before the campsite opens, you will be busy with training and all necessary preparations for the season. Afterwards, you will also be responsible for all tasks regarding the closing of the season.
At the moment, there is a big renovation project going on at this campsite that you will contribute to. A completely new swimming paradise will be created, new accommodations will be placed and the layout of the campsite will be slightly modified.
The campsite is situated on a hill and offers a beautiful view of the castle ruins of Larochette. The region here is also called “Little Switzerland”: thanks to the rivers, beautiful and steep sandstone cliffs have formed in this mountain landscape. Beautiful bike trails, waterfalls, ruins and so on. Enough to discover!

What do I get as a maintenance manager at this park?
|Salary:||Indication €2400,- to €2500,- gross per month based on 40 working hours per week|
|Accommodation:||Accommodation on the campsite for the first year (mobile home)|
|Days off:||Minimum 1 day off per week|
|Training:||Introduction program on site|

What kind of maintenance manager are we looking for?
|Languages:||English, French and preferably German|
|Personality::||You work organised, you know how to guide and motivate a team and you, of all people, know how to cooperate and perfom daily tasks. You have both management and organisational skills, you switch easy between multiple tasks and you know how to set priorities.|
|Availability:||Start as soon as possible until the end of December 2019 (with the intention of a permanent contract)|
|Experience:||Preferably experience in this discipline and explicitly in maintenance concerning swimming pool(s) and holiday accommodations such as mobile homes|
|Education:||Preferably technically educated|
